FREE BEER
•Thu 19 May 2005 • 2 Comments“Why would Mr. Morrison do such a thing?”
A) Because beer is the tastiest beverage in the world.
B) Because beer is chilly and cools you down when you are warm.
C) Because Rob won the lottery and wants to share his yummy winnings.
D) Because Rob rescued a beer delivery truck driver named Hank from drowning in the Des Moines River, and when Hank said:
“Thank you (gasp) so much for saving me (cough) from drowning in the (gulp) Des Moines River! I couldn’t (gasp) breathe, and it smelled (urp) really bad! How can I (cough) ever repay you?”
Rob replied:
“Hank, I would really enjoy some FREE BEER. I see that you are a beer delivery truck driver by the nifty, yet damp, patch on your striped shirt. Perhaps we could work something out?”
And they did. What a moving story! Pick this one!
E) Rob’s celebrating his 25th birthday!
If you picked E, you’re abso-SMURF-ly correct!
Robert Morrison is celebrating his 25th birthday, and he’d like you to join him. Did I mention there’ll be FREE BEERS to crack open? Pretty sure I did…
What: FREE BEER! Um, I mean Rob’s 25th!
When: Saturday, May 21st, after 5:01 pm
Hank’s doing fine. He’s back on his regular route, but he doesn’t drive over bridges anymore. He also gets a little jumpy when passing by those big cases filled with water bottles at Quik Trip… oh, right, that didn’t happen…
Or did it?
hacking 127.0.0.1
•Wed 27 Apr 2005 • Leave a CommentThis may be the funniest IRC transcript I’ve ever read! How incredible that this “hack0r” can delete entire drives after he told the recipient to “turn off his firewall” because only grandmas use firewalls on the internet. 127.0.0.1 is the loopback IP address for any device on a network. If this guy was actually doing something, he would have been attacking his very 0wn.
